If you need a written appraisal of your record or music collection for personal, insurance or legal purposes, please include all the following info:
Is it a 45 , 7", 10", 78, 12" LP, The Artist, The Title. Condition is very important. You must tell us if it's Mint condition, meaning the record is flawless or does it have minor scratches or many scratches? etc. Label and label number. If it's a 45 , does it have a picture sleeve? Does the LP have all the artwork, posters etc. What condition is the cover? Is it a Promo? Does it have "Not for Sale" label on it? Is it a test pressing or an acetate, Is it autographed?. Is it a picture disc? All of these examples change the value of the item.
We charge a flat fee of $75.00 per hour. A deposit of $75.00 is required before any work can begin. Credit card deposits will be accepted over the phone or you can use Paypal. We accept Visa, Master Card, Amex & Discover.
If we need to travel to your location. We do charge a rate of $75.00 an hour plus travel, food and lodging expenses. This is by appointment only. A deposit of $150.00 is required beforehand.
You can also ship your items to us for an appraisal. You must pay for the shipping & handling back and forth. Your credit card will be charged or you can pay with Paypal before we do the appraisal. It is often easier for you and us to appraise an item that has been shipped. It saves time and the hassle of trying to give an accurate description of the record. We will work with you to make it a as easy and inexpensive as possible.
